Background
The Department of Applied Mathematics used to be the Department of Mathematics Education.

It has been just changed his name and direction in August 1st 2010. The main goal of the Department of Mathematics Education used to train students to become elementary school teachers.Now in the Department of Applied Mathematics we will keep the good tradition of marking students being teachers, alsowe will expand the area to train the junior high or high school teachers as well.  In addition, we add the main goal of the Department to Applied Mathematics focusing on Discrete Mathematics, Algebra and Analytic Computation.  In other words, we will focus on Scientific Computation as research goal.
