【活動簡介】
In this talk, we will introduce Weyl sums and explain their connection with equidistribution problems in number theory. We will then discuss various methods for estimating Weyl sums and their applications. In particular, we will present an estimate for quadratic Weyl sums using the spectral theory of automorphic forms and L-functions. Such Weyl sums are related to the equidistribution of quadratic roots.
